Post-Lockdown PMV Offer

£399* for any full CtP machine PMV

Helping you build up to full capacity after lockdown!

  • Record trail clamp count
Trail clamps need replacing after producing a set amount of plates (varies from machine to machine). We check these and replace them if needed. If not, we record the amounts at each PM to help us predict when they will need replacing in the future.

  • Record plate winding count
We record this to help monitor the plate usage to help us predict when clamps need replacing.

  • Check all filters
Like any filters, over time they need replacing depending on their usage. We check these and replace where needed at every PM to make sure your CTP runs efficiently and to help prevent future breakdowns.

  • Check all suckers
Similar to filters, over time these will wear so we check and replace where needed.

  • Transport Rollers, belts, plate path
The engineer will carry out a thorough check and clean on these, making sure there are no obstructions or excess wear that can later cause an issue.

  • Path balance springs checked
These are checked and replaced where needed depending on wear.

  • Optic check and clean
Our engineer will check the optics output and any related elements to ensure there isn’t any excess dirt which can lead to failures. They will then clean the external lens and if deemed necessary, they will carry out an internal clean.

  • Cal Sensor Clean
Just like the optics, the engineer will clean the cal sensor and any related elements to ensure there isn’t any excess dirt which can lead to failures.

  • Re-calibrate Laser Diodes Over time, the strength of the light passing from the diodes will begin to drop which if left unchecked, can affect the output on your plates or lead to failures. Your CTP will automatically re-calibrate on regular intervals and increase the diode power where needed to compensate for this. After cleaning the optics, and sensors, this is re-calibrated to make sure the CTP is working as efficiently as possible with minimal risk of diode failure.

  • Check focus and tints on plates
As part of the re-calibration, the engineer will check the plates to make sure the focus and tints are being produced correctly.

  • Back up data
Once the machine is cleaned and calibrated, the engineer will take a backup of the calibration settings. We do this to save down time for you if for any reason these settings re-set or are changed between visit.

  • Produce/monitor plates, preferably live jobs
Once all of this is complete, the engineer will make sure your engine is producing plates without issue.

  • Recommend replacement parts
If during the PM, the engineer find any faults with any other part of the CTP, they will record this and advise which parts need replacing. Depending on the type of contract you have, the engineer may change them there and then, or our service desk will then be in touch to advise prices and schedule a return visit.
