Ad Hoc Service - For when you need it most

Rather than opting for one of our comprehensive maintenance contracts, you might find it more suitable to purchase support only at the times it’s needed.


For instance, whether you encounter unexpected issues, need assistance relocating vital equipment, require support during the transition between plate suppliers, or even need us to be on standby during a crucial task, we’re here to help.

In an Emergency, Count on Marlowe

Our emergency service is designed with simplicity and flexibility in mind. You only pay for the time you need, be it an hour, a day, or even a week. Regardless of your needs, we will arrange for our next available engineer to assist you as promptly as possible within standard office hours.

Upon diagnosing the problem, our highly trained and skilled team will address the issue. This approach allows us to resolve issues as they emerge, assist you in completing your projects, or provide you with reliable, practical advice.

There are numerous reasons why a business might require our services on an ad hoc basis. These range from on-site or workshop repairs to covering temporary absences of your prepress engineering staff.

Request a Marlowe Engineer Call-Out

Please read the below information and use the form to send us a direct request for an engineer to visit your premises. Call us on 01923 262 240 for more information. 


By completing and emailing this Engineer Request Form to the Marlowe Digital (MD) service desk, we understand that we will be subject to the following charges and conditions; E&OE.


  1. Call out charge of £350.00 to include first hour of labour.

  2. Engineer labour rates are charged at £105 per hour on-site, charged to the rounded-up completed half-hour.

  3. Telephone Support charged at £105 minimum, payable in advance by Pro-Forma Invoice. Thereafter charged at £52.50 per 30 minutes or part thereof.

  4. Day Rate £800

  5. All prices quoted exclude VAT at the current rate (20%)

  6. Payment will be by BACs or credit card. If parts need to be fitted, payment may be required in advance.

  7. Any parts fitted remain the property of MD and can be reclaimed until cleared funds are received in full.

  8. Your call will be placed for the next available engineer to visit you. However, if a contract customer call comes in, we reserve the right to redirect the engineer to the contract call first. You will not lose your place in the non-contract queue. By entering a maintenance contract, your call will be promoted above any non-contract calls.

  9. A maintenance contract will supersede the above terms if entered up to 24 hours after an engineer visit.


By signing or emailing and completing the following, I/we accept the above charges, conditions and payment terms and will ensure that payment will be available when the engineer visits, otherwise no work will be undertaken.
